The low speed submersible mixer ABS flow booster XSB from Sulzer Pumps may be the biggest of its type on the market for water treatment, yet it cuts energy consumption by a remarkable 25%.

The new ABS pump controller PC 441 from Sulzer Pumps is yet another phase of the ABS EffeX Revolution, which involves developing technology to reduce energy consumption and increase equipment efficiency and reliability for the wastewater industry.

ESA has signed a contract with ABS for the supply of seven stainless steel AFP submersible pumps. The pumps will be used in a new desalination plant being built in southeast of Spain.
